The GT86 G5 Plug-in is a standalone plug and play replacement for the factory ECU and plugs straight into the original wiring loom, no adapter harness needed and comes with a sample map for a tuning head start. The GT86 G5 Plug-in processing unit runs the same powerful microcontroller and firmware as the G5 Voodoo Pro.
Designed for the 2.0 L 4U-GSE/FA20 H4 Engine Right-Hand Drive cars. Support for both Manual and Automatic Transmissions.
Models Supported by 241-4000 Automotive computer unit:
- Toyota 86, ZN6, 2012 – 2021
- Toyota GT86, ZN6, 2012-2021
- Subaru BRZ, ZC6, 2012-2020
For more technical information please see the Features and Specifications tabs.
In the box:

- 2 x M6 screws for ECU mounting in OEM bracket
- DTM4 CAN Connection Cable (Pre-Installed in Enclosure)
- Link stickers
Notes:
Due to the very tight nature of the factory ECU location, it has come to our attention that the LHD and RHD mounting methods differ, and that the original case design of the GT86 plug-in is only suitable for RHD vehicles.
A LHD Version has been developed, and will be available by mid-2025.
2017+ Models have some differences to earlier cars and will not run with the sample maps supplied in PCLink and the standard plug-in ecu hardware.
- 2017+ Engines have a Hall Effect Crank Sensor instead of Reluctor and so require the Trigger 1 Type changed from 'Reluctor' to 'Optical/Hall' and the Trigger 1 Pull-up set to ON.
- 2017+ Engines have a different DI Fuel Pressure sensor than earlier models, this sensor has 4 pins instead of 3 and requires an 8.2kohm pullup resistor to be wired between C7 (An Volt 4) and 5v, the DI Fuel Pressure Source changed from An Volt 3 to An Volt 4 and the pressure calibration changed to 0kPa at 4.06V and 30000kPa at 0.46V.
