GM High Output Near Plug Ignition Truck Coil

NOTE: This coil has fallen out of favor with some due to the under-performing ubiquitous knock-offs flooding the market. We continue to offer Genuine coils that are still excellent performers, whether its for an LS1, LS2, RX-8 coil swap, or any other conversion for your vehicle, these are performers.

As many tuners know, these coils do auto-discharge to protect themselves if you choose excessive dwell values. Here is a quick rundown of good dwell values:

These Genuine GM coils are true 2nd Generation Truck coils which have been shown to be an excellent performing coil per plug ( CPP ) / coil near plug ( CNP ) coils. With a shorter minimum dwell, fast charge time, heat sinking, compact design and high output, these coils are one of the top choices for tuners around the world. Many reviews refer to these coils as "incredible" and "crushers" even compared to other high output coils. They are common upgrades for Mazda RX-8's boasting 4 times the spark energy of the stock coils.
