*NOTE: A special note for FAST customers. When initially designed, the FAST Classic ECU had to have each sensor sent out with a corresponding option file. To better serve their customers, FAST took the time to create a master option file which accounting for all NGK / NTK resistor options in 24300 sensor family. These sensors have factory calibration resistors which vary from sensor to sensor based on production tolerances. To allow your unit to accommodate all sensors you need to call FAST and purchase an option file (currently $20).
Here are the steps:
- Get the number off of your FAST Classic unit (the box#)
- Call FAST Tech Support / Sales
- As to purchase the Fast Classic Universal Wideband O2 option file / update, pn 308026
- Be sure they get your box# and code the option file to YOUR Fast Classic ECU
- If you speak with a rep who is unsure how to handle this situation, you can talk to Jay Adams at FAST who should be able to resolve the problem
